About the tour: . We had no meeting in November, but we have a good one coming in December. Streck Inc. started in 1945 and has been a family owned business for over 70 years. Their -plant covers 65,00 square feet and is located on 18 acres. Their specialty is large machining but have many other facilities including fabrication and welding, which will be the feature of our tour. Streck is located just South of the Watervliet Arsenal. First street is a right off State Route 32, which is also Third Avenue. It
shouldn’t be hard to find. Also, since Streck does some propriety work, they need to have a list of those attending and where thy work. For that reason, we need to have your reservation by the Friday before the meeting, and when you call in, pleases let me know where you work. At the meeting we also have ab added attraction in that our National District Director, Mike Krupnicki, will give us a short rundown on how things are with the National and probably something about our AWS Scholarships. This looks like it should be an interesting meeting so why not plan on attending.
