Oh my God, I can’t believe it. I get really emotional actually. It’s lovely. I really work hard and I am so involved with the collection. It’s amazing when someone wears an Amy Childs dress.

Yeah, Sam Faiers has worn a few of my dresses. She wore a beautiful red figurehugging one. She loves the collection. Whenever I go out, they all say, “You’re doing so well with your fashion.” It’s what I love.

What is your favourite piece in the collection?
The Poppy dress. It’s a skater dress and that’s why I love it, because it’s very different to the usual Amy Childs dress, it’s more fun. You can wear it with over-the-knee boots or wedges in the summer.

I look at the girls that come into my shop on a Saturday and I say to them, “What would you like from the collection?” It’s for the everyday girl.
Which celeb would you most like to see wear your dresses?
I would love Victoria Beckham to wear one. I love everything about Victoria – she’s unbelievable. I think she would like them, because they’re figure-hugging and sophisticated. She’d look amazing.

Do you prefer to dress up or dress down?
A
It really depends. For a date night, I love getting dressed up – but I love putting on a tracksuit with my hair in a bun, too! When you go to the gym, you’ve got to feel sexy as well. People ask why I wear make-up to the gym – it’s because I want to feel good.

Have you ever had a big fashion fail?
A
Oh my God, quite a few times. I wore a dress to the Legally Blonde premiere when I was on TOWIE about four years ago. I looked like Barbie gone wrong! It was a pink dress with flowers on the boob area. It was a disaster – really embarrassing. Shop Amy Childs’ collection at amychildsofficial.co.uk
