The plan study area was 800 acres, located two miles east of Disneyland and the Anaheim Convention Center near the junction of three of the region’s most traveled highways. The proposed development program called for the transformation of a portion of the parking lot surrounding the existing stadium into a mixed use development to include 700,000 square feet of new entertainment retail, two new hotels, a regional transportation hub, office buildings, a media center, movie theaters and a sports hall-of-fame.
