Analog Signlal OutputUnit FR - ZLM/ZLME
InstructionManual
Thank you for choosing the option unit for the Mitsubishi FREQROL series transistorized frequency inverter. Please read this manual carefully to use the equipment to itsoptimum. IMPORTANTNOTE ,
Analogsignaloutputunit(FR-ZLM/ZLME) (1) When usedwith FR-2300, theFR-ZLM/ZLMEallows any of theinverteroutputcurrent(motorcurrent),output * frequencyandoutputvoltagemagnitudesto be output as ananalogsignal.Thesesignalsaresuitabletouse as a monitoringsignal of theinverteroutputstate. (2) When usedwithFR-2200,only outputcurrentsignal is available. * These two outputs are only available from FR-ZLM/ZLME whenusedwith the 2300 series.
*
- pleasereadthismanualcarefully.Functionsandhandling are different dependent upon the type of inverter (2200 o r 2300 series) inwhich FR-ZLM/ZLME is installed. *Note : F R - Z L M is 0 to 3V outputtypeand
FR-ZLME
is 0 to 517 o r 0 to 1OV output type.

Pre-Installation Checks
1) Check theinvertertype. ThisoptionunitcanbeusedwiththeFREQROL-2300series and 2200 seriesinverters. Note : When thisoptionunit is usedwithFREQROL-2200series, two EPROMs of the inverter have been interchanged with No.8029 0. 0 is versionnumber) specialEPROMs(ROM at the factory before shipping. In case of FREQROL-2300series,it is notnecessaryto changeEPROMs. 2) Check thattheinverterpower is off. The inverter may become faulty if the option unit is installed totheinverter with thepoweron.Dangerous highvoltages a r e present whenever the power on lamp is glowing. I I ~

INSTRUCTIONS
(1) Thisoptionunit is designedforuse in theFR-2300andFR2200 series inverters and cannot be used with any other series of inverters. (2) When thisunit is usedonFR-2200series,ROMsontheinverter must be changed with exclusive ROMs No. 8029 0 ( 0 ; s version). FR -ZLM/ZLME In most case, these ROMs are changed and card is mounted on the inverter at the factory before shipping. <When FR-ZLM/ZLMEcard is mounted on the standard type FR -2200 by the customer, ROMs must be interchanged by the customer.> (3) Theoptionunit MUSTNOTbe usedoutsidetheinverter. (4) Thevoltageoutputsignal(terminal LMO) andcurrentoutput signal (terminal LM1) MUST NOT be used (connected) simultaneously.
