Letter from the President: Dear Sisters, Over the past four years, I have been blessed to have had the opportunity to know women with such diverse ages, backgrounds, strengths and interests. Returning to the role as President of our Chapter was not an easy decision. I am far busier than I was even a year ago. I have had many life changes, and seem to be on airplanes more than I’d care to be. Yet, I knew by not taking on this role with an amazing team, I would be missing a great chance to work with talented women who deeply care about the mission of Delta Gamma, to “Do Good.” You will be hearing from Geri, Anita, Jan, Katie, Arielle and me throughout the year with specific opportunities and events relating to their individual roles. I am going to share with you the BIG PICTURE and VISION for the year. My goal for each member of NOCDG: -‐ Share in the sisterhood and values of Delta Gamma through unique events and engagement opportunities -‐ For each member to feel valued, respected, and cared for by all -‐ Connecting you to NOCDG in a way that is meaningful to you -‐ Support members in times of adversity -‐ Having an environment where members can provide feedback to leadership -‐ And, most importantly, all members sharing great times together which foster lifelong friendships and memories Thank you for making North Orange County Delta Gamma Alumnae Chapter a part of your life. I look forward to a great year with you all. ITB, Nicole NOCDG Alumnae Chapter President 2015-2016

A Message from the 2014-2015 President: Congratulations and thank you to our incoming board for NOCDG for 2015-2016! We have an amazing group of women that have stepped up to fill the roles of leadership for our Chapter for the coming year. During the transition period over the next few months, both the previous and incoming boards will be working side by side, with some jobs starting transition sooner rather than later to strengthen our Chapter growth. Thank you to all of you that took the time to place your vote and to all that have dedicated their time to take on leadership roles. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve as your President this past year. Thank you to all of the women that served on the board this past year; Jill Johns, Nicole Parsons, Amber Serenil, Arielle Deltoro, Lynn Ogburn and Katie Kissee. I am proud to me a member of NOCDG and the wonderful ladies that make up this Chapter. ITB, Michelle Dean

Special Interest Group Fitness Walk

Special Interest Group Book Club

Want a fun way to increase your fitness and DG community? A big thank you to Nicole Parsons and Geri Lopker for starting our new Fitness Walk Group. We will plan a day to walk about once a month. Our first walk was on February 7th. Our next meet-up will be on Saturday, March 14th.

We meet every other month to discuss a book that has been voted on by the group collectively. We welcome ideas and suggestions for future book discussions. Please let Nicole know if you are interested in joining our book club, as she will email you separately with updates.

There is a walking course for everyone, whether you’re interested in a short, medium or long walk. We will also meet up afterwards for coffee for anyone that is interested in just meeting after the walk to socialize. Details in the calendar of events on the next page and updated details are always available on our website www.NorthOrangeCounty.DeltaGamma.org
