The Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated on Sunday, May 12, 2013 (Mother's Day) at 2:00pm at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford.

“NEW DAY” PROGRAM Our  parish  will  be  offering  “New  Day,”  a  nine-­‐week  program  for   those  who  have  lost  a  loved  one  in  death.  It  will  be  a  time  to  come   together  to  pray,  to  understand  the  grieving  process,  and  to   experience  the  support  of  a  caring  community.  This  program  will   begin  in  January,  2013,  and  the  day  and  time  will  depend  on  the   responses  we  receive.  If  you  are  interested  or  know  someone   who  might  be  interested,  please  contact  Dotty  Twachtman  at  860-­‐ 633-­‐6939.     Congratulations  to  the  Entire  Parish!!!     We  had  another  very  successful  Christmas  Giving  Tree  Event.   Thank  you  very  much  for  all  the  kind  and  generous   donations.    St.  Michael’s  is  very  grateful  for  all  the   warm  coats,  educational  toys  and  gift  cards  for  the   children  of  their  parish.  Your  overwhelming   generosity  will  benefit  many  kids  in  and  around  Saint  Michael   Parish,  Hartford.    A  special  thank  you  to  the  Wenner  and  Lang   families  for  coordinating  this  event.    Their  dedication  and  energy   in  making  it  all  happen  is  an  inspiration.  

Start  the  New  Year  off  with  a   Pancake  Breakfast  on  Sunday,   January  6  after  the  9:30  Mass.   Proceeds  benefit  the  summer  Mission   Trips.     Glastonbury School System’s decisions on winter weather. If the school system has a delayed opening or a snow day cancellation, then there will NOT be a morning Mass at Saint Dunstan.

Senior Luncheon

Annual  Marriage  Enrichment  Celebration   The 6th annual Archdiocesan Marriage Enrichment Celebration will be held on Sat., Feb. 3, 2013, from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Mary Our Queen Church, 248 Savage St., Plantsville, CT. Join with other married couples during this Year of Faith for Mass, prayer, and a good deal of laughter focusing on the theme: "Are We There Yet?...Vacations, Vocations and the Transmission of Faith."

Come join us for "Pot Luck" on Tuesday, Jan 8th at noon in the church hall. Please bring a dish to share - main dish, salad or dessert. Knights of Columbus Museum The Museum is excited to announce the opening of their new crèche exhibit, Joyeux Noel: Christmas in Canada. This exhibition features more than 75 crèches, statues and framed art created in Canada. The 12th Annual Christmas Tree Festival, featuring decorations created by elementary aged Catholic school children is also open; both exhibits will run through Feb. 3, 2013.
