ANTIQUES PURCHASING ANTIQUES : HOW IT WORKS STEP 1: GETTING STARTED First, stop by one of the two Distinguished Transport Service Desks to obtain a TEAR SHEET, which enables you to itemize your ANTIQUE purchases. (See map on back for the Service Desk locations.)
STEP 2: SHOPPING & BUYING Second, SHOP! As you shop, record your purchases on the TEAR SHEET. Include on the TEAR SHEET the following details on your purchases: • Dealer’s Company Name & Booth Number • Item Information / Description / Price (If you are hand-carrying a purchase and taking it with you, there’s no need to record it on your TEAR SHEET.)
STEP 3: PURCHASE SUMMARY Once you’ve made your purchases, return to the Distinguished Transport Service Desk and submit your completed TEAR SHEET. Distinguished Transport will give you a copy of your TEAR SHEET, answer your questions, provide pick-up details and provide a shipping quote if needed. Then, the Distinguished Transport team will tag each of your purchases with a personalized PURCHASE-TRACKING HANG TAG.
STEP 4: P ICK UP YOUR PURCHASES OR SHIP THEM Each evening after Show closing, purchased items are removed from the Show Floor and delivered to the Distinguished Transport warehouse, which is a few miles from AmericasMart. You may pick up your items at the warehouse as early as the day after purchase or as late as August 1, 2016. There is no pick-up fee. (Note: After August 1st, a storage fee will be incurred.) You must have a copy of your TEAR SHEET at the time of pick-up. If you prefer to ship your purchases directly to their final destination, Distinguished Transport can provide you with a shipping quote. If you wish to use the services of another shipper, you can have your own shipper collect your purchases from the Distinguished Transport warehouse by or before August 1, 2016. Distinguished Transport Warehouse pick-up hours: 9 a.m.– 4 p.m., July 15 –18, 2016 or by appointment after July 18, 2016.
