Our coatings have been field tested and used successfully and effectively for years in the oil & gas industry. The coatings can be applied to all types of metal and all grades of pipe, forged steel, malleable iron, cast iron and ductile iron. Anvil stocks two primary coatings: Scotchkote134 and Corvel 1660, both of which are a fusion-bonded epoxy type of coating. Anvil fittings are ISO approved and the Corvel 1660 is applied using NACE standards #1.
Scotchkote 134 is resistant to wastewater, hydrocarbons, harsh chemicals, sea water, acids and other chemicals. – Scotchkote 134 has been tested and certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 61, Drinking Water System Components. – Scotchkote 134 meets the requirements of AWWA Standard C213 and C550.
Corvel 1660 is designed for elevated temperatures and pressures in drill pipe, production tubing, valves and fittings – When applied along with EP-10 primer Corvel is also resistant to H2S, CO2, CH4 and petroleum distillates.
Anvil Coated Products are specially designed to protect the inside diameter of tubular goods in applications such as fittings, valves, pipe, OCTG and drill pipe. Our coatings are resistant to brine, saltwater, acids, H2S, CO2, drilling fluids and chemicals, as well as all other types of corrosives found in piping applications. Anvil Coated Products are ideal for a range of applications including natural gas, petroleum, waste water and sewage, refineries, petrochemical plants, power plants, paper mills, fire protection installations and any other industry or application where corrosion is an issue.
