Department of Geosciences, Earth Sciences Unit Postdoctoral Assistant in Mineralogy-Petrology 100% Non-tenure track position limited to a period of maximum 5 years Activity domain The successful candidate • will have to take responsibilities in the management and development of some of the analytical laboratories of the unit with a special emphasis on mineralogical and elemental characterization (microscopy, XRF, XRD, SEM, CT-Scan and IC) • will be involved in teaching general geology, mineralogy and petrology, including field labs and • will have the opportunity to develop his/her own research, preferably in synergy with the existing research groups (archaeometry, applied mineralogy, carbonate sedimentology, paleontology, micropaleontology and structural geology), in the perspective of an academic career (preparation of an habilitation thesis) Requirements: The successful candidate must hold a PhD in the Earth Sciences. Linguistic requirements: French and/or German with good knowledge of English.
