Aperture Cheat Sheet *Aperture Controls the amount of light that passes through the lens. The larger the f stop the less light is coming in. The smaller the fstop the more light is coming in.
Depth of Field Depth of field is the distance between the nearest and the furthest objects that give an image judged to be in focus in a camera. Aperture can be used to adjust the depth of field. The smaller the f/stop, the smaller your depth of field or how much of your photo is in focus. The larger the f stop, the larger your depth of field is and more of your photo is in focus.
