Dale Wellman,
Head Coach, just completed his second season in charge of the Prairie Wolves. Under his guidance in 2015-16, NWU earned a trip to the NAIA National Tournament, finishing with a record of 22-8 and led the country in scoring for the second straight season at 96.3 points per game. Ranked 16th in the final national coaches poll his team also averaged 14.2 made 3-pointers per game, which also was tops in the country. He was awarded Association of D3 Independents Coach of the Year for the second straight season. Previously, Wellman was the head coach at Alfred University (NY) for six years, during which he was named the 20132014 Empire 8 Conference Coach of the Year. His team averaged 96.7 points per game that year and finished in the top 10 nationally in 10 different statistical categories that the NCAA recognizes. He has also been on the staffs at Eastern Kentucky University, Williams College (MA), Union College (NY), and Kenyon College (OH).
BOYS HIGH SCHOOL TEAM CAMP June 25-26, 2016 $260.00 per team. Register by April 30 and cost is $240.00 Registration must be post-marked by April 30 to receive discount.
Team camp will be a two-day event. Each team will play three games on Saturday and two on Sunday. Registration will begin one hour prior to your first game on Saturday. Play begins at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. The camp is limited to 36 teams. Both varsity and junior varsity teams are welcome. Each team member will receive a T-shirt. The camp will be held at Snyder Arena and Knight Fieldhouse (located on Wesleyan’s campus). Upon receipt of application and deposit, a confirmation letter will be sent including game rules, game schedule, and waiver forms. For additional copies of camp brochure, please duplicate Application for Admission or print off the NWU website. (www.nwusports.com) (A $50.00 non-refundable deposit for team camp must be sent with the application. The balance will be paid on the first day of camp.) Campus Housing Campus Housing is available upon request. Cost is $18/person/night. Each team is responsible for its own meals.

FACILITIES Nebraska Wesleyan University’s Weary Center for Health and Fitness was dedicated on October 13, 1995. The $9.5 million facility replaces the Ira J. Taylor Gymnasium, which served as the home of Nebraska Wesleyan athletics since 1954. The state-of-the-art training and competition facility is designed for every Nebraska Wesleyan student’s use. It houses offices and classrooms for the Department of Athletics, Health and Human Performance and Intramural sports, the 2,350-seat Snyder Arena for basketball and volleyball, a weight room, cardiovascular exercise area, athletic training room, competitionsize swimming pool, racquetball courts and aerobics/dance room. It also includes Knight Field House, the indoor track, tennis, and basketball facility.
