**For large events that require moving tables and chairs around in the Fellowship Hall, please request a site map from the secretary and mark the exact arrangements needed.

Policy for Use of the Building and Equipment September 1, 2013 First United Methodist Church 601 Veda Drive, Redwood Falls MN 56283 507-644-2000 Eligibility First United Methodist Church welcomes the use of its facility by members, the extended United Methodist connection, and non-profit service group whose objectives are deemed by the church to fit with those of the congregation. Member or non-member business events are not eligible. Non-member personal events (anniversaries, etc) may be approved or disapproved by the church office staff. Questionable events shall be discussed with the Trustees chair. Scheduling Congregational events always have priority. To avoid conflicts, all events must be listed on the master calendar by the church office assistant. Events may be scheduled by the pastor or office assistant. Application for Use An “Application for Use’ form shall be filled out for all special congregational events and all events sponsored by others, as well as for equipment as stated below. Applications for recurring use must be renewed annually. Indicate space needs and arrangements on the application. The church staff and Church Council have authority to disapprove any application for use. Fees Members are not charged to use the building for personal events. Exceptions are per pastor’s discretion.  No fees requested for use by non-profit public service groups whose objectives are deemed by the staff to be complimentary to those of the congregation and who have no access to funds for this purpose.  Effective September 1, 2013 donations for non-members and non-profit public groups with funds available will be: Friendship Room, Asbury Room, or Chapel: $50.00 up to 4 hours. Use of Fellowship Hall without kitchen: $100.00 up to 4 hours. Use of Fellowship Hall and Kitchen: $150.00 up to 4 hours. Use of Fellowship Hall and multiple rooms: $250.00 minimum donation. Nursery: Group must provide adult supervision and clean up. (While members and non-profit groups are not charged for use of the facilities, a donation to cover building expenses is welcome.) Equipment Old rectangular tables in Fellowship storage room and metal chairs may be borrowed, if not needed by the congregation. The newer tables and upholstered folding chairs may not be removed from the Fellowship Hall for any reason. Electric roaster are available with permission from the United Methodist Women, along with applications for use submission. Church member: Please call the church office at 507-644-2000 to seek approval of tables, chairs, or equipment and request an application for use form. When removing any of these items from the Fellowship Hall or kitchen, please sign them out on the form on the kitchen bulletin board, with your name, the date taken and also the date returned. 9/1/13
