Job Responsibilities | • Suiting up and performing as McFogg the Dog at both Simon Fraser University athletic events and select community events in front of large crowds • Engaging and interacting positively and enthusiastically to motivate and entertain fans of all ages • Participating in activities during time outs and intermissions • Effective communication with the events coordinator and promotions staff • Establishing a fun, inclusive and professional environment as an ambassador for SFU
Job Qualifications | • Must be available from September 2017 to March 2018 • Must be able to work part time, including evenings and weekends. Hours will vary according to the athletic competition schedule - athletics.sfu.ca/calendar.aspx • Ability to be animated and have a general knowledge of sports • Ability to interact with fans of all ages enthusiastically • Willingness to participate in fun and unconventional promotional activities • Athletic fitness and the ability to adapt to changing environments is recommended • Performance experience is an asset
