Mar. 25th Regular Council Meeting:  Council endorsed a motion to approve the allocation of the 2013 MSI Operating deferred grant totalling $1,588 to the Mannville Communities in Bloom Committee 2014 operating costs.  Council endorsed a motion to accept Mannville Bottle Depot owner/operators, Verner & Elsie Thompson’s offer to place a large Beverage Container Recycling Bin at the Mannville Riverview Golf Course Campsite. Revenues generated will go to the Mannville and Area Golf and Recreation Society.  Council endorsed a motion to schedule a Strategic Planning meeting on April 1st at 6:00 pm for the development of the 2014 Capital and Operating Budgets. It’s that time of year again kids! Get out your crayons, markers or pencils and have some fun.

Alberta Author Shannon Raelynn will be visiting the library on Friday, April 4th at 2:00 p.m. While you enjoy coffee and the homemade baking at the tea you will have an opportunity to listen to Shannon talk about her writing experience of her newly published book "Seascape.” The library is celebrating their 10th anniversary Friday, May 23rd. Watch for updates on activities of the day.
