Community Events Saturday, April 8th from 9 am to 2 pm YMCA Healthy Kids Day at Bishop Museum Free admission including entry to all of Bishop Museum’s exhibits, Planetarium, and Science Center. Hands on activities, games, fitness challenges, entertainment, and food. Saturday, April 22 from 11 am to 5 pm Hahaione Elementary Fun Fair Rides, games, food and fun for the whole family.
Come join us each Sunday morning for worship at Hawaii Kai Church! Services are held at 8:45 and 10:30 am. Nursery care and Sunday school are available for children of all ages!
Director’s Corner Happy Spring! Blue skies and sunny days, birds chirping and beautiful flowers blooming remind us of God’s wonderful creations. Please stop and take a few moments each day to thank Him for these blessings, along with having the joy of families and friends surround us. This month the children will be focusing on spring and Easter. They will be learning about Jesus’ love for us and the sacrifice he made by his death and resurrection so that those that believe in him will have eternal life. Please join us for Good Friday service on April 14th at 7 pm and Easter Sunday service on April 16th at 8:45 and 10:30 am. Happy Easter! Thank you to all the parents who shared their occupations with their child’s class during out community helper unit. The children loved having their parents visit with their classmates. 2017-18 School Year Information Our 2017-18 school year is right around the corner! Additional information for students regarding start dates, classroom assignments, calendar, and supply lists will be distributed at a later date. In the meantime, here are a few items to note: - Mandatory Parent Orientation for parents/guardians will be held on Tuesday, August 1st at 6:30 pm - The first 2 days of school will be on August 8th and 9th. Students will attend for a full day on ONE of these two days to allow for a smaller class transition day for students and teachers. All students will then attend for the remainder of the week beginning on August 10th - Tuition for the 2017-18 school year: 7-2:30 semester payment (August-January): $4900.50 (includes a 1% discount) 7-5:30 semester payment (August-January): $5850.90 (includes a 1% discount) 7-2:30 monthly payment (based on 12 equal monthly installments): $825 7-5:30 monthly payment (based on 12 equal monthly installments): $985 Acceptance to our program is based upon a 12- month commitment of attendance (AugustJuly) - We will be implementing use of a new tuition management system, FACTS for the 2017-18 school year. More information will be forthcoming.
