Lee County Autism Resource and Advocacy (LCARA) is sponsoring our 4th Annual A-Day Autism 5K / 1-mile Fun Run in downtown Opelika on April 8, 2017.
Did you know that there are more than 400 students in Lee County receiving services for Autism? LCARA is the only all-volunteer, non-profit organization in Lee County helping families affected by autism. All monetary donations will remain in Lee County to provide free programs and activities to the autism community. Listed below are a few highlights of how we are “Bridging the Gap.” Collaboration with Auburn University School of Kinesiology Training to Auburn Fire Department, Police Department and First Responders C.A.R.E. – Camp Autism Respite Event at Children’s Harbor (weekend camp for autism community)
