Guest Speaker Gina McDonald knows a little something about hard work and achieving goals. She started on season 14 of NBC's weight-loss show "The Biggest Loser" at 245 pounds on her 5-foot-1-inch frame. By the season finale, she had dropped 113 pounds, or 46.12 percent of her body weight - good enough to become the winner among the eliminated contestants, and earning her a $100,000 prize. After the show's finale, she went back to real life in Hoover where she runs her own law firm, with offices in Pelham and Oneonta. She is running for the Alabama House District 43 seat, which covers parts of Shelby and Jefferson County.
