Application Deadline: TUESDAY, DEC 17, 2013 ABOUT THE PROGRAM: The Richard and Melanie Lundquist Fellows Program started in 2010 to help identify young leaders in the middle schools and high schools of the Partnership for Los Angeles Schools. The program seeks to reward students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and commitment to their schools, education, and communities with an academic scholarship and opportunities for professional growth. As a Lundquist fellow, students will have the opportunity to participate in various Partnership events, a recognition ceremony, and career shadow opportunities. Lundquist Fellows will receive a $500 scholarship for successfully completing the program.
IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED, ALL APPLICANTS MUST: ● Be enrolled in a Partnership middle school or high school for the 2013‐2014 academic year ● Submit the attached application form and essay (ALL sections must be complete) ● Be available for an in‐person interview ● Maintain at least a 2.50 grade point average throughout the program
