PACIFIC BALLROOM/ ARENA The Pacific Room at the Long Beach Arena is a revolutionary in the event planning industry with its customizable space. One of the largest-ever flying steel truss systems suspended 45,000-square-feet over the arena floor, with the ability to be raised or lowered, providing the perfect ceiling height for any event. This can turn the arena into an intimate space for as many as 5,000 guests.

EVENT SPACE
Events held in the Pacific Room will be billed on a daily rate. Move-in and move-out days are at 50% of the prevailing rate. Any equipment, staging, audio-visual, etc. will be charged at the published rate in addition to basic rental charges. Chairs, tables and equipment requirements beyond the capability of the facitlity’s available inventory must be provided at the expense of the Licensee.
SPECIAL SERVICES INCLUDED IN BASIC RENTAL • • • • •
Surround Curtains, Inflatable Globes and Specialty LED lighting and digitally steerable, self-powered speakers. Over 300 automated light fixtures to spotlight one or all tables, light up a dance floor, accent your product or project your logo. These labor services require Stagehand’s. Rates are based on production requirements. House lighting, ventilation, heat or air conditioning as required during event times. Energy conservation is of prime concern to the facility and minimal light and comfort levels will be maintained during move-in and move-out periods. Rehearsals and similar pre-event activities will be maintained accordingly. Housekeeping services during public open hours in aisles, corridors, lobby, open spaces and restrooms, plus one thorough cleaning of these same areas during non-open hours. Specific times to be coordinated with facility staff. Use of outdoor marquee, as available. The marquee is limited to information directly related to the Licensee’s activities within the facility. All messages must be pre-approved by facility Staff. Theater Seating and Standard size stage, Stage dimensions are divided into sections for 4 x 8 and height can be raised from 48 inches to 76 inches (up to 40’x 60’).

Labor to operate specialty lighting and house sound, Stagehands will create an estimate based on individual programs. Staffing not included. An Emergency Medical Technician will be scheduled through your Event Manager. First aid staffing with Emergency Medical Technician will be provided at current rates. Licensee is responsible for removal of bulk trash, crates, pallets, packing materials, lumber, etc. prior to show opening and following move-out. Bulk trash containers Carpet cleaning Crowd Management, Stagehands, Event Operations, Dock Control, VIP Parcking, and (Ticket sellers / takers if applicable) will be discussed with Licensee and provided based on individual programs. These are exclusive services provided by the Convention Center.
