NJSSNA 2016 “School Nurses Who Make a Difference” Award Dear County Presidents and Executive Board Members, NJSSNA Executive Board would like to recognize a School Nurse from each county who has made a difference in the life of a child or school community. We are asking each County President in consultation with the County Executive Board to nominate a school nurse from their County Association who stands out as having made a difference in some special way. Eligibility: • Nominee must be a certified school nurse •
Nominee must be a current NJSSNA/NASN member
•
Nominee must currently practice with 50% time in direct student care
•
Nominee may not be a member of the county or state executive board.
•
Nominee must give permission to post her name and a brief description of her accomplishment on the NJSSNA web site as a recipient of the 2016 “School Nurses Who Make a Difference” Award.
Each nominee will be acknowledged at the NJSSNA May Dinner Meeting May 17th at Pierre’s Restaurant in North Brunswick NJ. It is our hope that you and other members of your County Association will attend the dinner meeting as well and celebrate this special night. Thank you in advance for your help in selecting a nominee from your county for this award. Please complete and return the following nomination form by Friday April 15, 2016.
