SOWING AND GROWING

Sow on a windowsill in a propagator or in a greenhouse at approx. 18-21ºC (65-70ºF) onto a good quality, moist seed compost. Cover with 3mm (1⁄8") sieved compost (Germination 10-14 days). Transplant resulting seedlings into trays spacing them 5cm (2") apart and grow on. Plant out after acclimatising to outside conditions approx. 35cm (14") apart. Can also be sown direct outside in April/May into finely raked, moist, warm soil 13mm (½") deep where the plants are to flower.

HELPFUL HINT

For cut flowers - cut as the blooms start to open. Quality Control: This seed has been carefully tested to ensure high germination. Prior to use, store in a dry cool place.
