Step 1 — SSD
Make sure the device is turned off and disconnected from the battery charger.
Step 2
Remove all nine screws from the bottom of the device using a T5 screwdriver.
Remove two additional screws, if present, from beneath the rubber pads. (Pry up each rubber pad to access its screw.)
Carefully remove the bottom cover.

Step 3
Remove the five screws attaching the battery pack by using a PH-1 screwdriver.
Step 4
Unhook the black, red, and white switch using the tweezers.

Step 5
Detach the positive and negative black, white, yellow, and red switch with the use of tweezers.
Step 6
Unhook the black and white coiled wire using the tweezers.

Step 7
Remove the 3 screws surrounding the hard drive using the PH-1 screwdriver.
Gently lift and detach the hard drive, and pull it out.
