OUR NURSERY NURSERY at Tomball Bible Church
This month’s theme is “JESUS THE ANOINTED ONE”
This month, we are making a shift from seeing God’s faithfulness in the Old Testament to seeing God’s promises revealed through Jesus in the New Testament. Your little ones will be learning about Jesus as the Anointed One and his preparations leading to the cross. Each week they will be actively engaged in the Bible lessons by singing, dancing, acting out, and retelling each story. It will be a fun and tangible way for the little ones to take each truth to heart. It will be a great month of worship together!
The Temple Was Completed | September 3rd | Unit 16 Session 5 Bible Passage: Ezra 4:1-7; 5:1-5; 6:1-22 *God helped His people rebuild the temple. *The king wrote a letter to help God’s people. *Because of Jesus, we can worship God anywhere. Jesus Was Anointed | September 10th | Unit 25 Session 1 Bible Passages: Matthew 26:6-13; John 12:1-8 *A woman pour oil on Jesus. *Jesus knew He would soon die on the cross. *God sent Jesus because He loves us. Jesus Cleansed the Temple | September 17th | Unit 25 Session 2 Bible Passages: Matthew 21:12-17; Mark 11:15-19 *People gave gifts to God in the temple. *Jesus made the people selling in the temple leave. *Jesus showed He is the Messiah. The Last Supper | September 24th | Unit 25 Session 3 Bible Passages: Matthew 26:26-30; John 13:1-15 *Jesus ate a special meal with His friends. *Jesus washed His friends’ feet. *Jesus told His friends to remember Him. Nursery News Here are some upcoming events that you and your family can look forward to! September 20th: AWANA Begins! Due to the disaster relief, Awana has been pushed back a week. The new start date will be September 20. More leaders are needed, so please consider serving! Childcare is provided for our volunteers. Contact Danielle@tomballbible. church to volunteer. Children ages 3 and up (who are potty trained) are encouraged to participate!
