Local Church Sabbath Services Events

 Coffee/Fellowship Hour (CFHr) – Is often held on the 1st Sabbath of the month on which there will be no sermonettes and refreshments will follow services. Brethren are encouraged to stay for extra fellowship. Listen for local announcements for details.  Sabbath School and Teen Studies – Held in once a month (except during the summer break). The youth will leave the main room for alternate rooms after the opening prayer.  Sabbath Sack Lunch in the Park (SSLP) – Weather permitting (spring/summer/fall), each congregation has one Sabbath a month for brethren to meet after services in a local park for lunch or dinner. Activities, Announcements, Sabbaths & Holy Days,  Next Combined Service in Norcross, Nov 5th – Missing the fellowship at the Feast? We’ll have a combined Sabbath service in Norcross on November 5th. The start time will be 1:00 pm. A potluck meal will follow. Listen to announcements on Oct 29th for more information.  Sabbath School & Teen Bible Study – For November, the Buford Teen Bible Study will be on Nov 12th, and Atlanta’s on the same date. Sabbath School will be on Nov 12th in Atlanta and Nov 19th in Buford.  Coffee & Fellowship Hour – Is generally held on the first Sabbath of most months. The next date will be December 3rd in both Atlanta and Buford. There will be none in November. On these occasions there will be no sermonette. Please plan to stay after services for refreshments and extra time to fellowship.  Sabbath Sack Lunch in the Park (SSLP) – The Sabbath Sack Lunch in the Park has completed for the season. We anticipate beginning again next Spring.  Feast of Tabernacles Sermons – Were you unable to attend all the services at the Feast? Never fear – all the sermons from Canadian and US Feast sites are posted and can be accessed at any time on the internet. Go to http://feast.ucg.org/sermons  Winter Family Weekend 2016 – The dates for the 2016 WFW are Friday, Dec 23rd to Tuesday, Dec 27th. The location will be the Great Wolf Lodge in Mason, OH, the site for recent WFWs. More details and registration will soon be announced and can be found at - http://wfw.ucg.org

 Tithes & Donations – Neither Atlanta nor Buford collect tithes locally. Member tithes should be sent to the church headquarters in Cincinnati. We collect offering only on God’s seven annual Holy Days. If you’d like to make local donations (for socials, supplies, special needs, etc.) they can be made out to the United Church of God – Atlanta, and mailed to Bob McCurdy at 3833 Glen Robbie Ct, Loganville, GA 30052
