FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ATSSA Innovation Award winners honored during association’s Annual Convention Fredericksburg, Va. (February 22, 2017) – Three exhibitors at ATSSA’s recent 47th Annual Convention and Traffic Expo received prestigious ATSSA Innovation Awards on February 13 during the sold-out event in Phoenix, Arizona. That event drew a recordbreaking 3,364 attendees to the show floor that included 553 exhibition booths. The 2017 ATSSA Innovation Award winners were: FIRST PLACE MDI Traffic Control Products Product: MDI Compact Privacy Screen SECOND PLACE The Dow Chemical Company Product: FASTRACK 5408 all acrylic latex for waterborne pavement marking THIRD PLACE ADDCO Product: ADDCO PCMS 2017 Criteria for award selection included lifesaving qualities, degree of need, innovation, design, and eligibility under the Highway Safety Improvement Program. ATSSA’s core purpose is to advance roadway safety. ATSSA represents the roadway safety industry with effective legislative advocacy and a far-reaching member partnership.
