Serving Opportunities SERVE THE HOMELESS : Adults 18 or over are invited to join Men on the Hill this afternoon from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, serving the homeless at the Boccardo Reception Center just down the hill from the church. If you have any questions or would like to participate, contact Paul Marino at [email protected]. SHOPPING AT COSTCO : We need someone to buy supplies for the Café and other COTH ministries at Costco for the first Friday of each month. We provide the list and the church’s Costco card for the shopping to be done on Thursday or early Friday so that the purchases arrive at church before 3:00 pm on Friday. If you are interested in serving in this way, please write “SHOPPER” on your Communication Card. WEDNESDAY DINNER PREP & CLEANUP : Do you enjoy working in the kitchen? We need people to help with our family dinners on the first Wednesday of every month— prepping from 4:00-6:00 or cleanup from 7:00-8:30. Our next dinner will be on November 1. If you are interested in either (or both), please write “DINNER HELP” on your Communication Card.

Notes & News FIRES IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA : We are all concerned for the Napa, Sonoma, and other counties throughout Northern California which are affected by the fires. As we join in prayer for those communities, we also pray for the broader body of Christ as we are challenged in serving the families and communities in the midst of loss. Church on the Hill is a part of the association of Next Generation churches which is partnering with the NextGen churches in Santa Rosa (Spring Hills and Redemption Hill Churches) as they serve those affected by this devastation in coordination with FEMA and other local churches. Their immediate needs are financial, and NextGen has established a fund to assist the churches as they serve their communities. If God lays it on your heart to give, you may do so at nextgenchurches.com/give.
SERVE AT THE BLAST Our annual Fall Family Blast is this coming Friday! If you haven’t signed up yet to help with any of the fun activities we provide here on the Hill for children who will be coming, there is still time. To volunteer for one or more of the time slots still available, write “BLAST” on your Communication Card and you will be contacted.
