August 16, 2017 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm In The Hoop Quilting Project Note: Kim will bring the printed templates - $3, payable on the day of the class. Please send Kim an email if you have your own. Supplies Needed Fabric & Such Coordinating Quilting Cotton Fabrics Cut 1 light colored fabric piece 3 ½” X 6 ½” (sample used the same color for backing) Cut 2 piece medium colored fabric 6 ½” square Cut 1 dark colored fabric 3” X 16” Cut 2 medium or light colored 9” X 7 ½” Cut 1 Backing 10 ¼” X 30” Cut Warm and Natural batting 15” X 36”
Thread Two colors of embroidery thread, one light for dark fabric and one dark for the light fabric Pre wound bobbin Needles, Notions & Stabilizer 80 or 90 Microtex or Embroidery Needles Temporary spray adhesive Chalk or fabric marking pen Thread snips or scissors Point turner Walking foot Binder clips (optional)
Machine & Accessories Embroidery machine in good working order with manual, 5 X 7” hoop USB stick to load project design Denotes items available for purchase at Dublin Sewing Center. These items should always be purchased at Dublin Sewing Center to ensure that you have the correct product and to ensure that we can continue to teach these Clubs at a low price. Please remember, though, that we only carry a few of each item at a time so it is best to purchase your items prior to the class (in person or by phone).
