PRODUCTS SOLD AND SALE AREA:

All timber, except trees banded with blue paint or bounded out by Leave Tree Area Tags, bounded by the following: Timber Sale Boundary Tags, reprod, the PT-C-2900 Road and Coyle Road in Unit 1; and Timber Sale Boundary tags and reprod in Unit 2. In no instance shall downed red cedar be removed. All timber that has been on the ground for five years or more shall be left undisturbed and not yarded. Five years is defined by more than 1.5 inches of sap rot on part(s) of Sections 10, 15 and 33 all in Township 26 North, Range 1 West, W.M., containing 113 acres, more or less.

HARVEST METHOD: 100% Ground - Rubber tired skidders are restricted November 1 through June 30 and tracked skidders are restricted from November 1 through April 30 unless authorized in writing by the Contract Administrator. Falling and yarding will not be permitted on weekends, state recognized holidays, prior to 6:00 a.m., and after 8:00 p.m. unless authorized in writing by the Contract Administrator. ROADS:

23.57 stations of optional construction. 72.80 stations of required maintenance. 46.85 stations of optional maintenance. The operation of road construction equipment is not allowed from November 1 through April 30, on weekends or state recognized holidays, prior to 6:00 a.m., and after 8:00 p.m. unless authorized in writing by the Contract Administrator. Purchaser shall provide a minimum 120 hp excavator with operator for 8 hours of exploration of rock and other related work as directed by the Contract Administrator on the PT-C-2250 or PT-C3300. Purchaser shall submit a sieve analysis

TIMBER NOTICE OF SALE for the rock to be used to the Contract Administrator before the application of rock. Purchaser shall install a large culvert on the PT-C-2910.5 and a large gate on the PT-C2900. In addition, Purchaser shall provide and place 40 cubic yards of stumps to prevent vehicles from driving around the gate. ACREAGE DETERMINATION CRUISE METHOD: Sale acreage was determined 100% by GPS. Sale was cruised using a variable plot sample. FEES:

$67,965.00 is due on day of sale. $9.00 per MBF is due upon removal. These are in addition to the bid price.

SPECIAL REMARKS: Purchaser may remove biomass within 100 feet of roads and landings within the sale area. There is extreme hazard abatement required in Unit 1. Approximately 38% of the Douglas fir in Unit 1 and 50% of the Douglas fir in Unit 2 is high quality. Timber volume generated during pit expansion is added volume and must be scaled prior to removal. Additional volume shall be paid for at the contract payment rates established in Clause G-101 - Forest Products Not Designated. There is a locked gate on the PT-C-2200. Development of existing rock source will involve drilling, shooting, and processing rock to generate riprap and 3-inch-minus ballast. An estimated total quantity of rock needed for this proposal: 227 cubic yards of riprap and 3,730 cubic yards of ballast rock. Road construction, road reconstruction, road abandonment, and the hauling of rock will not be permitted from November 1 to March 31 unless authorized in writing by the Contract Administrator to reduce soil damage and siltation. DRIVING DIRECTIONS: Unit 1: Travel North from Sedro-Woolley on HWY-9 for approximately 11miles. Turn left onto the CC-ML and proceed through gate (F1-3). Travel 2 miles on the CC-ML, turn right on the CC-21 (abandoned road). Continue for 0.20 miles on the CC-21 to its junction with CC-2102 and unit one. The abandoned CC-21 continues along to access the unit’s northeastern edge. The CC-2102 climbs up and through the unit. Another non-haul access point can be used by traveling another 0.60 miles up the CC-ML turning right onto a power line access road. Travel 0.40 miles on the access road and near a tower (Line 1, Mile 63, Tower 4, MONE CUST). Park and walk east through power line right of way into unit. Use caution when working under and near transmission lines. Christie Hardrock Pit: Travel north from Sedro-Woolley on HWY-9 for approximately 11 miles. Turn right onto Doran road and proceed for 0.25 miles. Turn right onto Innis Creek road. Travel 0.7 miles and turn left onto the CT-ML. Proceed through gate (F1-3) and continue 3.5 miles to rock pit.
