This machine takes any size duct that has been manufactured on the Autofold side eject line and has been formed with male and female lock and notched to duct size. The machine will feed the steel in and automatically form the flange and fold the steel into “L” shape “U” shape and fully wrapped duct. No input of sizes is required via the controller as the controller is fully automated by picking up the notch fold positions using the Engel Europa v10 plc control with dedicated software, synchronizing the dual drives individually to solve the problem of dual head drives slipping as they rollform.
Autofold Fabri-Flange Standard Features The machine works perfect as a second and final stage to the autofold side eject machine for fully flanged duct and takes up only approx. 3 metres (12 foot) of length. The machine is fully hydraulic and requires one power supply. Production speeds are synced to the autofold duct line so is under a minute for most sizes of ducts. Flange Types are most standard forms available as per the customers requirement, also as standard is the auxiliary side of the roll former is fitted with the same flange for fittings and the other auxiliary side is for the clip.
