“It took about a month to finish because of all the detail. When I look at it I get a feeling of emptiness. I was surprised that it won a top award,” said Laci.

SYRACUSE STUDENTS WORK DISPLAYED AT WESTERN KANSAS SCHOLASTIC ART EXHIBIT
The WKSA Exhibit is on display from January 31 through February 21, 2010 at the Stauth Museum in Montezuma, KS. There are over 250 art works; photography, sculpture, metals, glass, drawings, paintings, ceramics, graphics and much more. Awards are as follows:
American Vision for best of show, Gold Key, Silver Key, and Honorable Mention. The WKSA contest was open to students in grades 7-12 in 31 counties. The Awards Ceremony/ Closing Reception for all winning students on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at 3:00 PM.
