Install Bitmoji on Your Device
■ Go to the App Store or Google Play to install the free app

Launch the App
■ Click on the Bitmoji icon, then follow the steps below

Sign up
■ Your own device? You may use "Log in with Snapchat"
❏
■ If you do not have a device, your teacher will provide one
■ Shared device? No Snapchat account? Sign up with Email
❏
Create Account
■ Follow the prompts to create your account
❏
Skip "Retrieve"
■ Unless you already have a Bitmoji account, skip this

Choose Gender and Style

Design Your Avatar ■ Complete each screen until you have created an avatar in your likeness

■ Find a close-up of your head only, if possible

Saving and Sharing

Share Avatar
Detailed Instructions ■ Choose your favorite headshot ■ Click the share icon and continue by selecting Gmail

Send Using Gmail
■ Enter your email address and hit the "paper airplane" to send avatar to yourself

Log Out (shared device)
■ If on a shared device, click on the triple bar, then go to Settings; click Log Out

■ Log in to your email account and look for the email you just sent yourself

Download, Rename ■ Download and rename your avatar: and Save Avatar rstnamelastinitial_avatar.png e.g., George Washington → georgew_avatar.png ■ Optionally, save to your USB and/or your Google Drive
