AVLL 2016 Major Baseball Ground Rules All teams must abide by the rules from the Little League Baseball Rule Book. The rules listed here are to be followed in addition to rules from the Little League Baseball Rule Book. 1.
Pitch count and pitch log are mandatory. You must keep a log throughout the entire season and be ready to present it if it is requested. Pitch log must be signed after each game by the official scorekeeper, umpire and opposing manager.

The first half of the season, all teams will bat the entire roster. No special runner allowed, do not make any changes until you hear from the Major Baseball Director.

All games must start on time.
4.
Uniforms should be clean and worn with pride, hats facing forward, shirts tucked in.

The home team will be responsible for keeping the official scorebook as well as pitch count. Pitch count must be compared with the opposing team every half inning. Prefer home team scorekeeper not be in the dugout, should be sitting right behind the home plate fence on the 3rd base (home) side.
6.
Teams can only practice on their assigned field and their designated time.
7.
Games can only be cancelled by a board member or umpire.
8.
Any division questions or concerns should be brought to the attention of the Major Baseball Director or Baseball Commissioner.
9.
There is no time limit on games.
10. Dropped/Missed third strike rule is in affect, refer to rulebook 6.05b, 6.09b. 11. Both Visiting and Home team are responsible for the following: Preparing the field before the game which includes dragging the field or raking or tamping (if needed), chalking, putting out the bases, etc Putting away and cleaning up after the game which includes putting away the bases, chalking machine and other field equipment. Please make sure dugouts are clean before leaving field.
