1 large ripe avocado, pit removed Juice of 1 lime 3 Tbsp plain Greek style yogurt 1 pinch sea salt 1/8 tsp ground cayenne pepper (optional) 1. Slice the avocado lengthwise. Break apart the avocado and remove the pit. Use a spoon to remove the flesh from the skins and place in a mixing bowl. Use a fork to mash the avocado. 2. Add the lime juice and continue to mix until you begin to achieve a smooth consistency. 3. Add the yogurt, sea salt and cayenne pepper (if using). Continue to mix contents until smooth. Cover and place in refrigerator until ready to serve.
Use this dressing as a salad dressing, dip or topping on chicken, white fish or grains. If you have a dairy allergy, replace the Greek style yogurt in the dressing with your favorite non-dairy yogurt. Increase the amount of cayenne pepper in the dressing for an additional kick.
