Session 2: June 26 - 28 (Grades 5 - 9) Avonworth H.S. Baseball Field 9:00AM - 12:00PM
Avonworth Baseball Camps 2017
Avonworth Baseball Camp Highlights: ★ The Avonworth High School Baseball Staff and Players will host two 3-day baseball camps. Week 1 (June 19-21) will be for grades K - 4 at Avonworth Community Park. Week 2 (June 26-28) will be for grades 5 - 9 at Avonworth High School. Grades are based on the upcoming 2017 - 2018 school year. ★ Baseball instruction to all groups will emphasize general throwing, hitting, baserunning, infield and outfield play. ★ Older groups will be introduced to the Avonworth Baseball philosophies. Team concepts, strategies, and terminology will also be taught. ★ All players will be involved in controlled scrimmages and games. Playing smart and sound situational baseball will be a focus for older groups. ★ The cost for each session is $90 with special offerings for multiple siblings. ★ Each camper will receive a 2017 Avonworth Baseball Camp T-Shirt. ★ Further information or questions, please email Coach Pomposelli: [email protected]
Mission Statement Our goal is to teach these kids the fundamentals of baseball while stressing the importance of good sportsmanship, respect, responsibility, and discipline. We will be striving to win, while having fun through learning, hard work, and competition.
