[email protected] Dear Parent
Year 7 girls star ng at AHS in September 2014 will be our second year of students to wear the new suited uniform. This comprises a stylish girls’ fit jacket, matching skirt and/or trousers. We have spent considerable me with our girls, parents, staff and suppliers to ensure the quality, design and affordability meets our requirements and we have been extremely pleased with the outcome.
The table on the next page shows the compulsory items your daughter will require. For the school uniform there is an op onal kni ed v‐neck jumper. We also offer two op onal items of PE kit: a PE skirt and a tracksuit top. If you have a preference for the PE tracksuit top, it is not necessary to purchase the PE Sweatshirt. Also, there is the choice between either the school skirt or school trousers and either long sleeved blouses or short sleeved blouses. It is not compulsory to purchase all the items on the list!
The AHS logo is prominently displayed on the jacket, kni ed jumper and also on the long and short sleeved blouses. This will ensure that when jackets and kni ed jumpers are removed, the AHS logo is s ll visible on the blouses. For our Year 8 girls and new Year 7 girls in September 2014, only blouses with the AHS logo are permi ed un l they reach the Sixth Form.
