AYSO Region 688 ALLIANCE ALL STARS TRYOUT INFORMATION

All Star teams are the secondary season or sometimes referred to as “tournament season” for the just concluded registered Fall season players in the 10U through 19U divisions of AYSO. The season begins in December and runs through April – possibly longer. This is a player selection process. The cost commitment varies from team to team, but the average is $300 per player. TO QUALIFY FOR THE ALLIANCE TEAM: PLAYER MUST: • •

Have played in at least half of the just concluded (2017) core season AYSO Be at least 8 years of age by December 31, 2009 (playing up to U10 does not constitute eligibility) No outstanding fees owed to the region Attend a maximum of 3 practices a week Be on time and prepared for practices – water, shin guards and a ball Show respect to team, coaches, other players and referees Be able to play Saturday and Sunday tournaments (coach makes decision to accept one day only players) Be willing to help with fundraising and sponsorships efforts Have the parental or guardian support needed for traveling to tournaments Be willing to support Region 688 Crossroads Cup on February 9-11, 2018

Be able to get your player to Saturday and Sunday tournaments Be willing to volunteer to work at Region 688 Crossroads Cup on February 9-11, 2018 Be in a financial position to support your child as an Alliance team player

TRYOUTS WILL BE HELD AT DISCOVERY PARK ON: OCTOBER 28 – 2:30pm until 4:00pm and/or NOVEMBER 11 – 2:30pm until 4:00pm Players should wear their current team jersey and wear required soccer equipment. Bring water.
