AYSO-U In-Person Course Sign-Up Note: This is a new system for AYSO, there may be issues Course Sign Up Overview • Some courses are free and some have a fee that must be paid online (more below). • Courses that are Free: online Safe Haven, online Concussion and most live, in-person courses for coaches, referees, and management. • Courses with a fee: online courses for coaching, referee and management.
STEP 1 Visit www.aysoregion4.com and click on AYSOU
REGION 4 NOTE: If not available in Region 4, other Regions offer 6U and 8U courses in person. Volunteers are encouraged to take “Live” in-person courses whenever possible. Not only do you get to interact, ask quesCons and meet others, you do not incur a cost. Region 4 accepts in-person and online coach cerLficates for 6U and 8U (7U & 8U). Live, in-person courses are required for 10U, 12U, Intermediate and Advanced coach cerLficaLon.
Tools Needed to Get Started • Registered volunteers should visit www.aysoregion4.com to access AYSOU. Use your exisLng Blue Sombrero account username and password to log on to AYSOU. In future visits, clicking on AYSOU should automaLcally log you in. If you do not have an account, please click here to register. • With your username and password, log on to AYSOU to access the online learning account. • Once you have signed on, you are now ready to browse the AYSOU eCommerce storefront.

AYSO-U In-Person Course Sign-Up STEP 3 Finding Live In-Person Courses • Live, in-person courses are found in the Live Courses secLon. • Look through the Live Course Calendar for available Sessions offered in nearby Regions. Currently you can 1) select a course (e.g., 8U coach) and then see a list of dates when and where that live course is being taught or 2) you can select a date and see what live courses are offered on that date. (NOTE: Every course in the country is listed. There are requests to add a sort funcLon to these list pages.) •
Once preferred Live course session is located, select the blue Sessions bu^on to view available rosters in a Session.
Registering For Live In-Person Courses • To register for a preferred roster and see session details click the blue “Register” bu^on to enroll and also to complete the registraLon process. No further acLon is needed unless the course lists other requirements. •
If you don’t want to a^end this class or wish to unregister for a course click the name of the course and you will see an opLon to “Unregister”.

Click on “Transcripts” to see how far along you are in current online courses or what AYSO cerLficaLons you’ve previously taken (AYSOU or pre-AYSOU). Want to see where you can access past courses to retake, review, or see PDF manuals? Click on “My Courses” for courses taken on AYSOU or even for in-person or online courses you’ve taken pre-AYSOU. The My Courses tab on the navigaLon menu contains the list of your “available” courses. By default, you will have access to AYSO’s Safe Haven and the CDC Head’s Up Concussion Awareness course, at no cost.
