AYSO-U Online Course Sign-Up Note: This is a new system for AYSO, there may be issues Course Sign Up Overview • Some courses are free and some have a fee that must be paid online (more below). • Courses that are Free: online Safe Haven, online Concussion and most live, in-person courses for coaches, referees, and management. • Courses with a fee: online courses for coaching, referee and management.
STEP 1 Visit www.aysoregion4.com and click on AYSOU
REGION 4 NOTE: If not available in Region 4, other Regions offer 6U and 8U courses in person. Volunteers are encouraged to take “Live” in-person courses whenever possible. Not only do you get to interact, ask quesCons and meet others, you do not incur a cost. Region 4 accepts in-person and online coach cerLficates for 6U and 8U (for 7U & 8U). Live, in-person courses are required for 10U, 12U, Intermediate and Advanced coach cerLficaLon.
Tools Needed to Get Started • Registered volunteers should visit www.aysoregion4.com to access AYSOU. Use your exisLng Blue Sombrero account username and password to log on to AYSOU. In future visits, clicking on AYSOU should automaLcally log you in. If you do not have an account, please click here to register. • With your username and password, log on to AYSOU to access the online learning account. • Once you have signed on, you are now ready to browse the AYSOU eCommerce storefront.

AYSO-U Online Course Sign-Up STEP 3 Finding Online Courses • Online Courses (as well as other materials for purchase) are found in the eCommerce secLon. • The AYSOU eCommerce storefront can be found in two places: the site’s navigaLon menu at the top of the page and at the site’s footer. Both of these will redirect you to the eCommerce storefront. • Click on the bu_on to browse through the available products and learn more details about each one. Want to know what cer-fica-ons you already have? Click on “Transcripts” to see how far along you are in current online courses or what AYSO cerLficaLons you’ve previously taken (AYSOU or pre-AYSOU). Want to see where you can access past courses to retake, review, or see PDF manuals? Click on “My Courses” for courses taken on AYSOU or even for in-person or online courses you’ve taken pre-AYSOU. The My Courses tab on the navigaLon menu contains the list of your “available” courses. By default, you will have access to AYSO’s Safe Haven and the CDC Head’s Up Concussion Awareness course, at no cost.

AYSO-U Online Course Sign-Up STEP 4 SelecCng Your Online Course • Once on the eCommerce page browse through the available products and learn more details about each one. There are both courses and vouchers available to purchase on this page. • Online courses are immediately available upon purchase! You can take them at any Lme at your own pace and can retake them as well. Once completed the cerLficates will appear on your “My Transcripts” page and the course materials will appear on your “My Courses” page. • If you are looking for specific categories, browse through the Categories panel on the leg side of the site to find what course is best for you. • Note: The images are pictures of the PDF coach booklet which you will have access to ager purchasing the online class. REGION 4 NOTE: Region 4 has decided to provide its coaches, referees and board members with vouchers to use when buying online courses. Volunteers will need to email their voucher request to [email protected]. Please provide your name and the course requiring the voucher.Be aware that process may take up to 24-hours. These vouchers can then be applied at checkout. Volunteers are also welcome to pay for their own courses and if desired, may request a reimbursement however reimbursement from Region 4 may take several weeks and will require proper receipts and proof of course compleLon.

AYSO-U Online Course Sign-Up Preparing For Your TransacCon For Online Courses • Once you have selected the course, you can 1) click on the “Buy now” bu_on to move ahead in the process and use your requested voucher from Region 4 or pay with your credit card or 2) click “Add to cart” to purchase later or when you have a Region 4 voucher.
STEP 5 Click on your desired course to see brief details.

Once you’ve clicked “Buy now” fill out the appropriate Billing informaLon on that page and click “Review order” bu_on when ready to purchase. Note: This form needs to be filled out even if not paying for the course yourself.
