Squiggle A simple garter stitch cardigan for a baby This is a really simple baby’s cardigan knitted in garter stitch with one button tab and buttonhole. You begin by knitting one piece and then work each front and the back separately, and then sew up the shoulders – constructing the garment this way means you don’t have to sew up the side seams.
