babysitting waiver of liability

BABYSITTING WAIVER OF LIABILITY Grand View Lodge is on occasion asked to provide a list of, or specific names of, babysitters in the local community who may be available to provide babysitting services to guests. Grand View Lodge keeps a list of individual babysitters interested in providing babysitting services for guests. Grand View Lodge is not compensated for, and receives no consideration for compiling and keeping the list of babysitters. Each guest is encouraged to use any and all resources available to them for babysitting services, and is under no obligation or requirement to utilize babysitting services, or any of the babysitters listed on the Grand View Lodge list. The babysitters included on the Grand View Lodge list are under no contract or agreement with Grand View Lodge and Grand View Lodge does not compensate said babysitters in any fashion, nor do the babysitters compensate Grand View Lodge to be on the list. On occasion, a Grand View Lodge employee may request to be on the list to perform babysitting when they are off duty, and said employees are not compensated by Grand View Lodge. The relationship between the babysitters and the guests is an independent contractor relationship, and is an independent contract between the guests and the babysitter. Guests are responsible for determining adequacy of the babysitter or whether the babysitter is an appropriate individual to provide care for the guest’s children. Background checks are not required for individuals on the babysitting list provided to guests. The undersigned has read the above notice and accepts it with the understanding that Grand View Lodge is not responsible for any liability associated with the babysitting services, contacting of babysitters, or including babysitters on the Grand View list of babysitters. The undersigned agrees not to make any claims against Grand View Lodge associated with babysitting service of whatever kind in nature.
