This week, please create a balanced breakfast (one that could be served to a child or an adult). The breakfast should contain at one fruit or vegetable, a source of complex carbohydrate (grains) and a source of protein (ie: dairy, egg, tofu, nuts or nut-milk). It should look appealing to a potential consumer anywhere between the ages of 3 and 103. Take a picture of your breakfast and upload it (as a .jpg,.pdf, or .png) for peer assessment along with a brief description of each component of the breakfast.

Photograph and upload for your fellow students a simple balanced breakfast that you made this week. Describe how you put it together it in 200 words or less, including the general components of the breakfast (for example: fresh fruit smoothie made with blueberries, banana and almond milk, served with homemade oatmeal).
Balanced breakfast
The breakfast dish contain plain yoghurt with mango, oat, amaranth and nuts, and one glass of hibiscus water. All is without sugar added. Fruit: Mango. Complex Carbohydrates: Oat and amaranth. Source of protein: Plain yoghurt and walnuts.
