We have two new teachers joining the Balby Central team from September; Mr Kerry will be teaching in Year 4 and Miss Jefferies will teach in Year 5. Mrs Hirst our current Year 2 class teacher is moving on to another school to be a Deputy Headteacher. We would like to thank her for her continued support of the school in her roles as a leader in maths and enquiry based learning, Phase Leader and teacher currently of Year 2. We wish her well in her new leadership role. Miss Clarke our current Year 5 teacher will also be leaving Balby Central to take up a class teacher post in another school. Again we wish her well with her future teaching career and thank her for teaching children in both Years 3 and 5. From September the organisation of the classrooms will change as the classes on the front of the school will be for Key Stage One children. The plan of the school below outlines the changes that will be made in classes in the Year 1, 2, 3 and 4 areas.

Year 5

We look forward to a great year ahead, I will be informing you on the Summer Term newsletter of more details about the staff structure and new developments in school over the summer holidays. We have lots planned! Kind regards Emma Cooke
