LESS WATER • LESS COLORANT • BETTER COVERAGE • MAJOR PRODUCTION
The Beast outfitted with a Color Max system is the ultimate mulch coloring system. You get the maximum production from The Beast and the Color Max, eliminating waste and downtime. The secret is in the stirring action of the Beast’s patented cutter mill that evenly distributes the colorant, thoroughly coating the mulch. The pump system is a simple, straightforward design. Hook one line to your water source and one line to The Beast, and the Color Max will pull colorant directly into the flow of water. And the entire setup is remote controlled, so the operator feeding The Beast can start and stop the flow of colorant. Another reason that the ColorMax system in the Beast is so effective is the proportional drive that feeds the material at a rate the cutter mill wants to take it, based on available engine horsepower. The pump system remote control allows the operator to stop the flow of colorant when the infeed conveyor stops and restart the flow of colorant when the conveyor restarts. “I have owned and operated a number of mulch coloring systems, including one of the more popular grinder/colorizer units,” said Mario Halasa, owner of Akron’s Finest Mulch and a Model 3680XP with a Color Max system. “The Color Max system from Bandit in the 3680XP grinder is by far the best mulch coloring system that I have seen or used. We use much less water and colorant and the quality of the mulch is great. Production is much better, right around 300 yards an hour, using 45 gallons of water per minute. The last coloring system I used 90 gallons of water per minute!” SCREEN
