Early Childhood Leadership Master’s Program Offered in collaboration with Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES

The Early Childhood Leadership Program is designed for early childhood teachers and administrators seeking certification, professional development and preparation for careers in early childhood educational leadership. The program is designed to prepare early childhood leaders who are ethical, reflective, and collaborative and who have the knowledge, skills and dispositions to reach their highest potential. The course work covers all aspects of leadership, with an emphasis on understanding the complexities and dynamics of early childhood settings whether school-based or community-based. Students will learn how to create a shared vision, build consensus among teachers and staff, and engage parents and community members. As part of the program, students will work together in internships and related course work.
