Basic Referee Course Friday, August 25th . (7pm-9pm) And continuing….
Saturday, August 26th. (8am – 4pm) La Mesa Junior High School 26623 May Way, Santa Clarita, 91351 Contact: Jodi Mills (Referee Administrator) [email protected] Friday, August 25th . (7pm-9pm) Doughnuts, coffee, and drinks provided Saturday, August 26th. (8am – 4pm) Lunch and water provided. Written exam given Sat Aug 26th Free for Registered Volunteers of Regions 677/678/46/1441 Starting July 1st, you can register for the course online at www.ayso677.org under the AYSOU tab. There are some things you MUST do before you can referee: • •
You must take the ONLINE Concussion Awareness training. You must take the ONLINE Safe Haven certification
Please Note: Safe Haven and CDC Concussion Course are NOT included in the Basic Referee Course but are required before you can referee. Refereeing is not easy. Becoming certified to referee is not straightforward either. But the kids need referees. And that is why you should. Remember, No referees….no soccer!
