HEAD COACH CHAIA HUFF
Entering her third season with the Eagles, Coach Huff became the 13th head coach in program history in the 2016-2017 season. Coach Huff has coached women’s basketball at the collegiate level for a decade. Coach Huff has a passion for rebuilding and developing student-athletes. This past season, 2017-2018, Huff led the Eagles to a double-digit win turnaround from the previous season. Huff looks to share her passion for becoming a player of character, leadership and hard work with campers this summer!
ASST. COACH MACKENZIE REESE
Mackenzie Reese enters her fourth season with the Edgewood Women’s basketball program. Before joining the Eagles, Reese played Division II basketball at the University of South Carolina-Aiken. During her four-year career with the Pacers, Reese was a two-time MVP and became just the 11th player in school history to reach 1,000 points. She finished her collegiate career in the top-10 in school history in rebounds, assists, minutes and games played. Reese was a member of the 2015 Peach Belt Conference All-Tournament team and was also named Second Team All-Conference. Reese is a native of Madison, Wis.
ASST. COACH MARGOT AFFOURTIT
Margot Affourtit is entering her fourth season with Edgewood Women’s basketball. Affourtit played collegiately for three years at Division I, Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville before winning a national championship in 2012 with the SIUE club team. In 2013, Affourtit coached the team to a national semifinal appearance. Affourtit went on to become an assistant coach at Webster University in St. Louis, Mo., for one year. She then moved on to become the head junior varsity coach at Holy Trinity High School in downtown Chicago, Ill. Affourtit grew up in Lake Forest, Ill., and moved from Chicago, Ill., to Madison, Wis.
GRADUATE ASST. REGGIE PATTERSON
Reggie is entering his second season with the Eagles. Reggie was born and raised in Mississippi. He was a men’s basketball player at Mississippi State University and brings with him tremendous experience from the SEC conference.
