Document: “Battery Play_Comm Boards Dec 4” Page 1 of 6 – “Overall Plan” Page 1 of 6 shows an overall plan view of the proposed improvements to Battery Lane Park. Proposed improvements include the widening of the Bethesda Trolley Trail, secondary path re-alignment, a pullup bar fitness station, new benches, new picnic tables, a stormwater management facility, and tree plantings. The plan also shows a reference to the playground enlargement plan on Page 2 of 6, which contains specific information on the proposed improvements to the playground itself. Page 2 of 6 – “Playground Plan” Page 2 of 6 shows a plan view of the proposed improvements to the playground at Battery Lane Park. Proposed improvements include new play equipment for ages two (2) through twelve (12), concrete edging around the playground, engineered wood fiber safety surfacing, benches, picnic tables, and fencing between the trail and playground. The plan also shows new boulders and wood planks at the existing knoll, along with new tree plantings. Page 3 of 6 – “Playground Perspective View” Page 3 of 6 shows a three-dimensional computer-generated perspective image looking north at the proposed playground equipment, including specific colors for the equipment components. The page also shows a plan view of the playground with an arrow that indicates the location where the threedimensional image was captured and the direction of the view. Page 4 of 6 – “Playground Perspective View” Page 4 of 6 shows a three-dimensional computer-generated perspective image looking south at the proposed playground equipment, including specific colors for the equipment components. The page also shows a plan view of the playground with an arrow that indicates the location where the threedimensional image was captured and the direction of the view. Page 5 of 6 – “Playground Perspective View” Page 5 of 6 shows a three-dimensional computer-generated perspective image looking northwest at the proposed playground equipment, including specific colors for the equipment components. The page also shows a plan view of the playground with an arrow that indicates the location where the threedimensional image was captured and the direction of the view. Page 6 of 6 – “Playground Color Options” Page 6 of 6 shows two (2) different three-dimensional computer-generated perspective images looking north at the proposed playground equipment. The image at the top of the page (Color Option A) shows specific colors for the playground equipment components, including green and chartreuse plastics, brown posts, green railings, and dark brown flooring. Color Option A is the color scheme that was used in all of the three-dimensional playground perspective images presented on pages three (3) through five (5). The image at the bottom of the page (Color Option B) shows alternative colors for some of the equipment components, including orange and plum plastics, green posts, lime green railings, and dark brown flooring.
