Our Time Here The first thing that drew us to this property was its location; being near enough to walk into town with all its amenities, yet equally close proximity to the Downs area and all that has to offer. We really liked the fact that this house offers countryside and town life all in one. All the views from the rear of the property are outstanding. The sunset has got to be the best in the UK. The spectacular sight is second to none. Our neighbours are all good people and we think of them as friends. We hope the friendship will continue after we move. The safe and secure feel of Bayview Road is difficult to quantify, but this will be an aspect of living here that we will certainly miss. It is a different life in Whitstable. We find it’s easier going, more friendly and an immediate detachment from the hustle and bustle of ‘normal’ town/city life. The many independent shops in the town offer something different to the norm. Additionally there is a newly built Aldi, M&S, etc. along with a medical centre within walking distance. The house is also an easy walk to local junior schools, and a short bus ride from good Secondary and Grammar schools. Additionally, the train station is a quick walk away. We will miss the comfortable and happy feel of this home, as well as the views; watching what is happening out at sea can be quite captivating. And we will miss the sunset most definitely, providing a different picture every evening.
