Turn in your work! If your work is one day late, the highest grade possible will be a 70. The second day is a 40 and after that it becomes a zero. Come to school! If you miss school it is your job to check the make-up work folder. For each day you miss, you will have one day to complete make-up work.

Grading Policy: Grades will be calculated as follows: a minimum of 15 grades, including at least 3 major grades will be recorded during each 9 week period.
**Major Grades-60%-will include major tests, AR points, Novel Record, Projects
**Minor Grades-40%-will include daily work, homework, quizzes, etc.
A Novel Record is an independent analysis of one AR book read and will be completed each nine week period. The novel record will be due on the Friday of the sixth week of each nine week period, with the first having a due date of Friday, September 8, 2017.
Materials Needed: binder, blue/black ink pen, library book, composition book
