Shipping Guide for
Beach Plastics programme TerraCycle will provide collection groups with bulk bags or bulk boxes to facilitate the secure transport of materials. They have a capacity of up to 70kg of plastic and stand 1m tall and 1.2 meters wide.
Steps for sending plastic: SIGN UP

Visit terracycle.co.uk to set up an account. Then join the Beach Plastics Recycling Programme.

REQUEST COLLECTION SUPPLIES Go to the Beach Plastics Recycling Programme page and submit the ‘Request Freight Delivery’ online form.
COLLECT Communicate the need to separate rigid plastics for recycling from other materials. We recommend either providing different colour bin bags, or splitting into 2 groups.

Use bulk bags or bulk boxes provided by TerraCycle to store and aggregate beach plastics prior to shipping.
SHIP To arrange a pick up of full bulk bags or boxes of beach plastics submit the online form called ‘Request Freight Pick Up’
Note: Please ensure your shipments are accessible to large trucks. On the day of the scheduled pickup, please be available in case the shipping company or Terracycle needs to contact you.
